Two Ginger Scallion Lobsters for $20 at Big Wing Wong

Big Wing Wong on Mott St in Chinatown is known for their simple-but-done-well "meat on rice" dishes such as roast pork, roast duck, and soy sauce chicken on top of rice.  They also have solid noodle soup and stir fried noodle dishes.

Right now though, they are running a special that's posted outside the restaurant:  Two Lobsters, sauteed in ginger scallion sauce for $20.  The lobsters are cut up and claws separated so it's easier to eat.  The ginger scallion sauce was flavorful and the lobster was still tender and juicy. Not a bad deal!

We also got a beef chow fun noodle dish.  This dish was only about $7...and although simple, it was cooked well.

So there ya, go a great lobster meal for two for under $30...not too shabby!

  1. I had chinese servers working for me and they swore on Big Wing Wong. They'd go on Sundays and bring me back rib-ends that were soooooo good.
