This Little Piggy Had Roast Beef...(and so did I!)

Yep, This Little Piggy Had Roast Beef is the actual genius name that this quaint little eatery has.  It's right on 1st Ave and 9th st in the East Village.  The sandwich shop is open until 4am and makes for some perfect drunk food after some late night boozing!  They have a small menu with roast beef sandwiches that comes "This Way (with au jus and Cheez Whiz) and a "That Way", which is pictured below.  Their sandwiches are cheap and come in a roll, $5.50, or a footlong hero, $8.50, which is literally enough to feed two!   The food is great and the people who worked there were really nice.  A friend had accidentally dropped her sandwich and they offered to replace it free of charge!

A "That Way" which comes with tender roast beef, mozzarella, and topped with gravy!   The roast beef
is tender and the gravy is full of flavor.

The menu:  They also have a pastrami with coleslaw on Rye.  And yes, that is a wall that is full of people's signed dollar bills.

Another view of the small interior of the restaurant.
